CITRUS COUNTY LONG-TERM RECOVERY GROUP

What is a Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG)?

A Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is a collaborative team formed after a disaster to coordinate and support long-term recovery efforts within a community. The goal of an LTRG is to bring together various government agencies, non-profit organizations, faith-based groups, businesses, and community members to ensure that all recovery needs are addressed, from rebuilding infrastructure to providing ongoing support to individuals and families.

Get involved in Citrus County's Recovery!

If you're passionate about helping Citrus County recover from the devastation caused by Hurricanes Idalia, Helene, and Milton, we encourage you to join the Citrus County Long-Term Recovery Group. As our community moves into the long-term recovery phase, collaboration and strategic planning are vital to rebuilding a stronger and more resilient community. By joining our LTRG, you’ll contribute to efforts that go beyond short-term relief, ensuring sustained recovery for those in need.

Attend our monthly community meetings

All community members and stakeholders are welcome to attend our monthly Zoom meetings and learn how they can be part of the recovery process. Join the LTRG meeting on the last Wednesday of each month at 3:00 PM EST.
